Purpose

We are excited to have you join our school community. The Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) plays a vital role in supporting our school through volunteer efforts, event planning, and fundraising.

When you join the PTSA, you join a community that believes in building partnerships between our families and our school. We know that our students learn more and have better lives when everyone in the school community works together to share thoughts and information and work together on projects to benefit the school community. Rosemont High PTSA is a unit in good standing with the California State PTA.

It was organized on November 13, 2003, and is chartered as a subordinate organization of California Congress of Parents, Teachers, and Students, Inc. (AKA California State PTA or PTA California Congress of Parents Teachers & Students Inc).

Rosemont High PTSA is authorized to use a United States IRS EIN for PTA business.

California State PTA, and Rosemont High PTSA are exempt from federal income tax as charitable and educational organizations under the provisions of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The group exemption number assigned to California State PTA is 0646.
